An updated sample of the Address Book Ukraine reference directory is now available on the product page.
The new file contains 4,905 address records—2,061 records, or 72%, more than the previous version. At the same time, the sample retains a stable structure of 36 fields containing detailed address, administrative and geographic information.
What Has Changed in the New Sample
The updated file provides a more representative view of the data available in Address Book Ukraine:
- the number of street and road objects represented in the sample has increased from 422 to 739;
- the number of unique street names has grown from 206 to 377;
- additional object types are included, such as boulevards, passages and stations;
- the number of records containing historical street names has increased almost fourfold;
- the number of records with building-level GPS coordinates has more than tripled;
- the sample’s geography has been refreshed and now includes locations in the Kherson region, as well as Arbuzynka, Ivanychi, Koriukivka, Kostiantynivka and Novotroitske.
The sample also reflects current Ukrainian administrative terminology: the outdated category “urban-type settlement” (смт) has been replaced with “settlement” (селище).
What Data Is Included
Each record demonstrates the structure that businesses can integrate into their information systems:
- region, district and territorial community;
- settlement type and name;
- Ukrainian names and Latin transliteration;
- current and former names of settlements and streets;
- KATOTTG and KOATUU codes;
- telephone area code and postal code;
- street type and name;
- house number and additional house-number details;
- GPS coordinates of the building and settlement.
The expanded renaming archive is particularly useful when working with historical customer data. It helps businesses match old addresses with their current equivalents, reduce duplicates and improve data quality in CRM, ERP and other corporate systems.
Why Use the Sample
The updated file allows businesses to:
- evaluate the directory’s structure and level of detail;
- prepare field mapping before integration;
- test data imports into CRM or ERP systems;
- verify how transliteration, official codes and coordinates are handled;
- see how the history of address renaming is stored.
The sample is not the complete Address Book Ukraine database. The full directory covers 99.8% of Ukraine’s postal and physical addresses and contains more than 16 million address records. The data is maintained daily and can be accessed offline, through an online account or via API.
