Service: Geodata.online – Tools for Google Sheets

1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy describes how data is processed within the Geodata.online – Tools for Google Sheets service (hereinafter — the “Service”), which operates via Google Apps Script and integrates with the Geodata.online API.

The Service is not a standalone data repository and operates exclusively within the user’s Google Sheets.

2. Data Processed

2.1 User-Provided Data

The Service processes data that the user manually enters into Google Sheets, including:

• addresses
• geographic coordinates (lat/long)
• IP addresses
• full names (personal data)

2.2 Authorization Data

• email / login
• password (used only to obtain a token)
• access token (has a limited validity period)

2.3 Technical Data

• processing statuses (api_status)
• timestamps (api_status_ts)
• execution logs
• service parameters (batch size, triggers, stop flags)

3. Data Source

All data comes exclusively from the user via Google Sheets or during the authorization process. The Service does not collect data independently and does not perform any hidden monitoring.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

Data is used exclusively for:

• executing Geodata.online API requests
• processing data in spreadsheets
• user authorization
• automating batch processing
• error handling and logging

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Data processing is carried out on the basis of:

• execution of functionality initiated by the user
• user consent when using the Service

6. Where and How Data Is Stored

6.1 Google Sheets

Input and output data is stored exclusively in the user’s spreadsheet.

6.2 Google Apps Script Storage

• User Properties — authorization tokens
• Script Properties — service parameters

6.3 Geodata.online Server

Data is transmitted to the API for processing but is not retained by the Service after the request is completed (except for technical logs on the API side).

7. Data Sharing with Third Parties

Data is shared exclusively with:

1. Google Services:

• Google Sheets
• Google Apps Script

2. Geodata.online API:

Data is not shared with, sold to, or used for advertising by any other third parties.

8. Google Data Access (Scopes)

The Service uses access only within the scope of the required functionality:

• access to the active Google Sheet
• execution of scripts on behalf of the user

The Service:

• does not access other Google Drive files
• does not read Gmail, Calendar, or other services

9. Data Retention and Deletion

• Data is retained for as long as the user’s Google Sheet exists
• The user may:

• delete data manually
• reset authorization (deletes tokens)

• Deleting the spreadsheet results in the complete removal of all data

10. User Rights

The user has the right to:

• access their data
• modify or delete data
• revoke authorization
• discontinue use of the Service

11. Data Security

The following measures are in place:

• HTTPS requests
• standard Google security mechanisms
• User Properties isolation

However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Service is not liable for:

• data entered by the user
• errors in API output data
• data loss resulting from user actions

13. Policy Changes

This Policy may be updated. The current version is available within the Service.
